As we look for new and engaging ways to share Cambridge history with the community, we're collaborating with local organizations to present exhibits and events. Below, find some of the projects we're currently working on.

Spring 2024

Opening event for a Black History Month exhibit, February 2023

February - Black History Month Exhibit 2024

The Cambridge Museum's 2024 Black History Month exhibit, "Trail Blazers That Have Left Their Mark,” will be on display at the Kendall Public Lobby (355 - 325 Main St, Cambridge) during the month of February.

March - The Ackermann Room Project Unveiling - 

project to update the imagery in the Ackermann Room at Cambridge City Hall to honor women in Cambridge who have lived notable lives of service. The new portraits will be unveiled in early March 2024.

"Cambridge Mosaic"

A family history project centered around interviewing a diverse group of Cambridge citizens and recording their invaluable memories of the city. The premier of the first collection of videos will happen Spring 2024.

Pride Month Exhibit

An project to celebrate the 20th anniversary of marriage equality in Massachusetts, this exhibit will highlight photographs by Marilyn Humphries from May 2004. It will be on display at the Kendall Public Lobby from late May through June 2024.
